Ethiopia is a country that still seeks support from the international community to succeed in developing and improving the living conditions of the population.
Our tree planting project is linked to the protection of the environment, heritage of the nation, which will bring wellbeing and development, giving the local populations all the tools and knowledge necessary to conserve the territory, to protect the water sources and to create a sustainable ecosystem for future generations.
Our focus is the area of Loka Bedelcha Kebele, in southern Ethiopia, a region with a high risk of pollution, with incalculable damage to the lives of people and animals. The area is struggling with a severe drought and low fertile soil, poor resource management, and few laws.
Our partners want to improve the living conditions of small farmers and shepherds through better management of the environment and to make access to food easier. Planting trees mean starting an ecologically sustainable business through the production of fruit, coffee, beekeeping, and animal fattening. The project also plans to involve schools in planting trees.
The project plans to plant different species of trees to ensure biodiversity in the territory, with multipurpose tree species, fruit trees, and coffee plants.
Supporting the project, each supporter will have a certificate of thanks and updates to life on the project through email. Planting trees is an investment in the future of the planet and for a better life for our children.
