At one time the forests of California were one of the foundations of the state’s economy and a vital ecological resource for the whole world. The woods provided clean water, air, gathering places and breathtaking scenery for tourists, and fought the greenhouse effect and climate change. Unfortunately, the vast fires of recent years, combined with a severe bacterial infection, have severely damaged the forest. Official government data declare that 1.3 million acres of forest have become ashes, with incalculable damages.
Our project is very ambitious for California, and consists of planting 129 million trees across the state! We will re-create all the destroyed forests and much more! To carry out this project, collaboration with institutions, the forestry body, and the entire population is fundamental for a campaign to raise awareness and prevent arson. Our project is very ambitious, and our partners, to maximize results, have the right to choose the tree species to be planted according to the season.
The plants that will be planted are Sugar Pine, California Redwood, Maple, Elderberry, Willow, Birch, Dogwood, Cedar, Giant Sequoia and Walnut.
Every contribution is fundamental to the forests of California. Each supporter will receive a certificate and regular updates via email on the status of the project. Every little gesture is a brick, which will allow us to build a wall between the old polluted world and a new eco-free world!
